Why We Walk
Step Out for Parkinson’s® is more than a fundraiser — it’s a movement of hope and solidarity. In 2025, we walk for the Parkinson’s Support Fund™, Sunshine Coast — a local initiative providing direct support to people living with Parkinson’s and their carers. Together, we:
- Raise awareness and reduce stigma
- Fund access to therapy, respite, and equipment
- Celebrate the strength of those living with Parkinson’s and the partners who care for them every day

The Parkinson’s Conference, Sunshine Coast: Thanks to your support, we were able to launch the inaugural Parkinson’s Conference in 2024 — attended by over 230 people. This event has become an important platform for sharing up-to-date information with people living with Parkinson’s, their partners, care providers, and clinicians. We look forward to seeing you there in October 2025!
