The Parkinson’s Conference, Sunshine Coast 2026

Whether you are living with Parkinson’s, supporting someone who is, working within healthcare or contributing to research and innovation, the Conference offers an opportunity to learn from respected voices and connect with others who share a commitment to improving Parkinson’s care and quality of life.

The 2026 program will explore a broad range of topics affecting people living with Parkinson’s and those who support them, including:

  • Genetics and Parkinson’s research
  • Current and emerging approaches to Parkinson’s care
  • Neurology, medication and advanced therapies
  • Movement, mobility and allied health
  • Sleep, fatigue
  • Pain in Parkinson’s
  • Cognitive and psychological wellbeing
  • Communication, swallowing and daily function
  • Relationships, intimacy and quality of life
  • Technology and objective movement monitoring
  • Carer services and family support
  • Community services and practical support pathways
  • Living well with Parkinson’s

The final program and presentation times will be released closer to the Conference.

You do not need a clinical or professional background to attend. Presentations will be delivered for a mixed community and professional audience.
