Lily Brosnan
Occupational Therapist / AHA
Lily is a qualified Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2022 and currently works with us as an Allied Health Assistant. She is passionate about supporting people to stay engaged in everyday life, and brings experience from aged care, community health, private practice hand therapy, and health research.
Lily offers a personalised, practical approach to care, working alongside each person to build confidence and independence in the activities that are meaningful to them. She prioritises genuine listening and clear communication, creating an environment where clients and their families feel comfortable and understood.
Lily’s interest in Parkinson’s care is both professional and personal. Her dad was diagnosed in 2021 and soon afterwards became a member of The Park’s community. She has seen the incredible impact of supportive multidisciplinary care in enabling people with Parkinson’s to live well, which has inspired her to help others in the same way.
Lily is committed to ongoing learning and staying up to date with the latest research. She is looking forward to undertaking Parkinson’s-specific training to support her ongoing professional development.
Outside of work, Lily’s loves doing anything that involves spending time with her family and friends. She has also taught herself to crochet and loves talking about it with anyone who asks!
